Rituals in many ways form the core of our Jewish life. We observe rituals on many occasions, both happy and sad, as a way of sanctifying our lives and our times. From daily minyan, to celebrating holidays and special occasions, to observing Shabbat and keeping kosher, Jewish rituals can bring great meaning into our lives.
Rituals at times can also be somewhat confusing to understand and intimidating to approach. For this reason, we always seek to ensure that you can enter into the Jacksonville Jewish Center with the background to understand and experience many of our Jewish rituals.
We are happy to provide you with some background reading on a variety of rituals, but if you would like to learn more, please contact Danielle Berke at 904-292-1000 x115 or [email protected] to schedule a meeting with a member of our Clergy.
